🚀 New Features

Nextcloud Talk-only mode
You can now enable Sendent in a Talk-only configuration. This disables file sharing functionality and allows organizations to use messaging and calling features independently.

Presence Provider Integration
A major new component that brings real-time presence into Outlook (read more here):

  • See availability/status of your Nextcloud contacts directly in Outlook
  • Hover over contacts to view presence information
  • Instantly start a call from Outlook using Nextcloud Talk

Other

  • Provides more flexibility with enforced expiration policies by allowing administrators to set a default (e.g. 7 days) while enabling users to extend it with a custom number of additional days (e.g. +5 days), ensuring compliance with controlled flexibility.

Bug Fixes

  • Compatibility issue fixed with TLS 1.3 - keep in mind, on the Windows platform it's bound to the Windows installation whether or not TLS 1.3 is actually supported!
  • Password validation issue resolved - Fixed a validation problem that could occur when different Nextcloud security settings were applied.
